Vessel and Marine Facility Security Assessments

The Department of Homeland Security recently published the National Maritime Security Initiatives mandated by the Marine Transportation Security Act of 2002. These regulations require security assessments of regulated vessels and marine facilities. The International Marine Organization has adopted parallel codes for International Vessels and Ports through the International Ship & Port Security Code (ISPS).
